Andrea Valentina recently stepped into the spotlight after being crowned Miss Grand Florida, marking a new chapter in her journey from local titleholder to national contender.

Formerly Miss Grand Miami, Andrea shared her story with Inside South Florida, speaking openly about what it means to represent Florida on a larger stage. Her rise comes through the Miss Grand International system, known for evaluating contestants across the four B’s: beauty, body, brains, and business — a framework designed to highlight well-rounded women with both presence and purpose.

Andrea stood out for her balance of business-minded focus and genuine compassion. With a degree in business and a strong entrepreneurial drive, she also remains deeply connected to her community, regularly volunteering and participating in local initiatives. Judges noted not only her ambition, but her hands-on approach to service.

Originally from Venezuela, Andrea moved to Texas before settling in Miami three years ago. The city’s diversity quickly became home, and representing Miami — and now Florida — carries personal meaning, especially within South Florida’s vibrant Venezuelan community.
